Charming Foundations is not just your ordinary thrift and gift store in Curtis Bay, Baltimore. As the nonprofit arm of Charming Movers, a trusted local moving company established in 2004, it embodies a spirit of giving back to the community. Many of Charming Movers' clients have items they would have donated, but the stress of moving and finding a new home for these treasures can be overwhelming. In response, Charming Movers would typically donate these items to local charities. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, donation centers halted operations, leaving Charming Movers with an abundance of furniture, clothing, and household goods.

From this surplus, Charming Foundations emerged—a thrift and gift store with a mission to support women's and children's shelters. By reselling these donated goods, Charming Foundations aims to maximize its impact and provide vital support to those in need during challenging times.
